Orphan Photo # 17

For Vintage Thingies I am sharing another of vintage photos of children.

This one is an old Tin Photo and the child is just adorable.

Dressed in a small patterned dress with big collar. Short hair with what looks like a curl in the center. Beautiful big eyes.

So sad that there is no identification with the photo.

  3. I always wonder how these got separated from people who knew who they were? Because pics werent everyday things after all! How special to give it a home :)

  4. What a sweet little child! Such a shame there isn't at least a first name written on the back. How wonderful of you to have rescued so many forgotten family pictures. I just finished looking at all of the pictures you have listed on the right, and bless you for keeping all of those photos out of a landfill!
    Happy VTT!

  5. It always amazes me how these types of photos get out of the hands of family members. At Carol's comment, I too checked out all your orphan photos...so glad you have saved them!

Have a great weekend and a wonderful VTT!

  6. I love old photos. I buy them whenever I find them but it makes me sad that no one in the family wanted to keep them.

  8. These photos always make me sad...I am a lover of genealogy and it just really bothers me that this is someone's family....but it happens all of the time. The baby doesn't look too happy....they had to sit for so long back then, and not move!

  12. I wish these photo treasures could be with the family. Sometimes the family doesn't even know who the photos are of. It is so neat to see images
of your ancestors! I also have a genealogy blog.
