FORGOTTEN ORPHAN PHOTO # 92 OF A SMILING BABY EARLY 1900'S

Take a peek at this adorable baby picture I found in Texas at an antique store a few months ago. What a total doll of a baby in Sepia. I am guessing it is a girl because of the ruffled bonnet but who knows for sure. Wide smile and bright eyed little baby. Not sure of the age of the photo but I am guessing from the early 1900's to 1920's.

Sadly we have no name on the back so no way to identify. These can be displayed in a vintage bowl. Who doesn't like to look at darling babies.
thanks for stopping by.. Grace
I am sharing this at Thrifty Thursday

  1. I think the dates you suggest are correct judging from my photos. But it does look different to see this baby with her legs astride. Last weekend at an antique store I saw many old photos, lost and awaiting purchase. I talked to the owner and asked if they sold many and he assured me that indeed people bought these old photos and often use them for decorations in their homes. People buy box lots at estate sales and end up with these homeless photos. Because I have so many of our own photos I can't imagine buying someone elses, but it does happen as proven here on Sepia often.

  2. How on earth did they get them to laugh like that? I think it is a wonderful photograph - and you have brought it back to life.
