Tonight posting is for Sepia Saturday and featuring this adorable baby. I have him in the previous posting and a vintage picture holder I have made to hold the picture. He stands out any way I post him. Take a peek at that hair do.
I am sharing this on SepiaSaturday
Happy Sepia Saturday.. Grace
He is a cute little fellow. I remember babies with this hairstyle. The top hair brushed into sort of a curl.
ReplyDeleteMy mother tells me I had a similar curl when I was a baby. Long gone now though.
ReplyDeleteOh yes I remember trying to get my kiddos hair into a curl like that. I like that photo. Fun fun meme this is.

My sister used to have a cowlick and they made pink hairtape to plaster it down. As if by making it pink it would look okay. Ha!

Absolutely adorable. Something about those old sepia photos that showcases the babies brightness. I love the tribe of cuties at the top of your blog, too
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't look to happy with that hairdo!
ReplyDeleteVery cute.. my mum liked to swish baby hair up like that.. a bit of spit to hold it I wouldn't be surprised!!
ReplyDeleteThe photo didn't enlarge much so I couldn't see the hair-do very clearly but it looks like what my daughter calls a "fountain" - when a mother puts a rubber band around a little tuft of baby's hair and it sprouts in all directions. Or maybe it's a curl....
ReplyDeleteThe baby seems to have a very serious expression. Adorable.
It is a funny hair-do. And it is a boy, isn't it? in those early pictures, sometimes it's hard to know for sure.
ReplyDeleteYou can't help wondering what they thought of as they looked out into the new world around them : and what life had in the future for them. A happy one I hope.
