ORPHAN PHOTO # 118 Men and Their Fish Vintage Snapshot

Here is a funny old snap shot, no date but probably around the 1940s or 1950s based on clothing they are wearing.


We have a total of 18 men standing on this dock holding their caught fish. One man is in the back of the boat. Some of these men are wearing ties how strange is that?
Sadly no names to location on the photo so can not get any help to who they are or why they are all standing on a dock.

    Although there is no angling rod in sight, this looks like a fishing contest. But I am not sure who the winner is...

    One skinny dock! And the boat doesn't look big enough to have held all of them at one time.

    It doesn't look that skinny dock can hold all that weight. A wonder if it might have collapsed after the photo was taken. We'll never know.

    I think the ties could indicate they are decked out for a competition. What I find strangest of all, is where they are holding the fish!
